I love this place. Me and my wife had a wonderful time. The staff was amazing. The place was clean. The dessert was good The music was awesome! I'm definitely coming back with some friends.

What a great atmosphere. We saw Charlton Singleton, who is so talented on trumpet, along with Chris Williams on sax. Really enjoyed the entire experience. The venue and staff are excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

We loved the atmosphere, the drinks and the music. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend! Went back and it was just as good- if not better the 2nd time around. This time we had beverages from the bar and they were great!

First of all the music is great, but you already knew that. Trying not to go into too much detail of just how much they saved our evening a few weeks ago, the service (especially the lovely lady Deborah checking tickets at the front) will have us coming back for years.

This is the place to come for jazz when in Charleston. Joe Clark, who owns the club, was performing the night we were there. He and the band did a great job with the Great American songbook". We tried to go back again while we were in town but they were booked out. Definitely will return.

First let me start with Deborah who greets and checks you in. She is absolutely the perfect person for this position. I witnessed and experienced the professional kindness and grace in which Deborah interacted with each guest. She was the opening act to a phenomenal experience! The Forte Jazz Lounge was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday! Speaking of birthdays may I just say the coconut cake was exceptional it was like being back in France. The cake was light, flavorful without the sugary taste and with fresh coconut shavings in the frosting, it was truly a delicious treat. Kudos to the Chef❣️ The Stevie Wonder Tribute was spot on! Kudos to Charlton and the crew for bringing down the house in true Motown form. My husbansd and I were born and raised in the MotorCity so the sounds of Stevie hit at the heart strings for us! What Up Doe ☺️ We will return and look forward to another wonderful experience!

We visited this place twice, got to know the producer who is also a first-class pianist. We enjoyed both shows and will be back for more once we are in the area. Definitely recommend! Loved it!

Had a great time here! After being warmly welcomed at the front door/lobby, I settled into my seat and watched a mix of locals and visitors enter. All ages; nice to see the interest from a mixed audience. The musicians on Wednesday night were well-rehearsed. The pianist, Abdiel Iriarte, is gifted. This was such a nice and mature alternative to the rowdiness of the other King St bars. Volume was between 60-80 dB. (Very comfortable.)

I surprised my fiancé with a night at Forte Jazz Lounge for his birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect surprise! Neither of us had ever been to a live jazz show before, so we went in with high expectations and they were definitely met. We grabbed dinner beforehand, but they do offer a small menu if you want something to eat during the show. The band was fantastic and the performers were amazing. We went to the 7:30pm show (Girl Singer), which lasted about an hour and a half, so you definitely get your money’s worth. One tip: I highly recommend taking an Uber downtown because finding parking during the nightlife hours can be hectic. Overall it was an amazing experience and such a fun way to celebrate a birthday. We’ll definitely be back!

What an experience! We visited this weekend for the Marvin Gaye/Sam Cooke tribute and WOW. Both lead singers had perfect voices for their songs and the band was and arrangement did these two incredible artists justice. We laughed, we danced, we sang, we had a great night. This experience should not be missed.
